Especially when you move into a new home, you may not be sure what is a "plant" and what is a weed.  Or you may wonder how to care for the plants already there.

Encouragement
Some folks think they have "black thumbs."  Maybe they've had some discouraging results from previous efforts.  Anne can help identify what may have gone awry and help you gain the confidence to explore your "inner gardener."

Garden design
Perhaps you are more than ready to get to work in the garden, but feel overwhelmed when you go to a garden center.  Anne can prepare a formal plan with a shopping list or even go to the nursery with you to help you select the plants that will work best in your gardens.

Education
Anne believes people often just need more information so they can care for their plants properly. Whether killing with neglect or killing with kindness, the result is often the same--learning what plants need what is not brain surgery, and Anne will even prepare a "plant care calendar" customized for your yard should you need a refresher.

Problem-solving
Gardens are an eco-system, and sometimes there are underlying causes to plant problems.  Whether it turns out to be a need for pruning, soil amendments, weed or insect management, or dealing with issues such as runoff and erosion, Anne can help you find a solution!
